Returning a SUP? Paddleboards are handled a little differently - email our team at hello@beachbumsup.com and we'll take care of it directly with you.
How long do I have to make a return?
You have 14 days from delivery to start the return process. All you need to do to start a return is head to our returns portal (or email us if you're returning a SUP). That'll guide you through the whole process, step-by-step.
What can I return?
Items need to be in the same condition you received them to qualify for a refund. That means you're free to try your items on, but they need to be unworn, unused and in the original packaging to qualify for a refund. Please keep your receipt or proof of purchase handy, too.
Please note:
- Clearance items and swimsuits are non-refundable.
- Springsuits can be exchanged but not refunded. See "Can I exchange items?" below.
Return shipping is at your own cost, unless the item is damaged, defective or incorrect.
What happens once you send an item back?
Every return is checked once it reaches us to make sure it's still in a sellable condition - the same state it was in when you received it. This means no signs of wear, and no human or animal hair on the item. If a returned item doesn't pass this check, the return will be declined.
If that happens, we'll hold the item for 14 days so you can arrange collection, or we can send it back to you at your own cost. Just let us know which you'd prefer.
What if my item arrives damaged? Or there’s a mistake?
There's nothing worse than ordering something, only to open the box to find it's damaged or not the right item. We try to pack everything carefully and send it to you with delivery services we trust, but sometimes things can go wrong.
If something arrives damaged, defective or just isn't what you ordered - including clearance items or swimsuits - drop us an email on hello@beachbumsup.com. We pride ourselves on customer service that goes above and beyond, so we'll make sure it's fixed and you're 100% happy, fast.
Can I exchange items?
Love your item but want it in a different size or colour? Not a problem at all. Head to our portal to start an exchange and send the item back to us. Once we've got it back, we'll send your replacement out to you.
Please note:
- We have to limit exchanges to one per item. If you want to return your exchanged item, we'll refund as store credit.
- Springsuits are exchange-only — they can't be returned for a refund, only swapped for a different size or colour or for store credit.
- Swimsuits and clearance items can't be exchanged or refunded.
What if my refund isn’t approved?
This doesn't happen very often, but if it does, we'll email you with the reason why and what we can do next. Most often it's because the request was outside the 14-day return window, the item didn't pass our sellable-condition check (see above), or it's a non-returnable item (like clearance items or swimwear). If that happens, we'll get in touch and work together on a solution.
Why can’t I return clearance items?
Marking our products as final clearance lets us pass the biggest savings to you. However, that means that we can't accept refunds on them. That's why anything discounted by 30% or more counts as clearance and is final sale (non-returnable). Not sure on size or fit? Give us a shout before you order and we'll be more than happy to help.
Your statutory rights
None of the above affects your statutory rights. If an item is faulty, not as described, or damaged on arrival,you'reentitled to a repair,replacementor refund under consumer protection law.
